It started as an idea, and it became a movement.
LaunchPad began with a simple mission: to end menstrual poverty. Over the past few years, we’ve worked to support Rohingya refugee women, giving them access to menstrual hygiene and restoring their dignity.
Now, Launchpad 2.0 is taking the mission further to the heart of the Orang Asli community, where many women and girls still face the challenge of not having basic menstrual products.
This is more than just providing pads. It’s about breaking stigma, promoting education, and giving women the dignity they deserve.
Together, we can change lives.
Why it Matters?
Social & Health Impact: Directly addresses SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by tackling menstrual equity and providing essential health resources to Orang Asli women.
Environmental Impact: Directly addresses SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by diverting textile waste from landfills and promoting a circular economy through upcycling.
LaunchPad 2.0 is more than a donation initiative, it is a community-led platform that:
- Promotes menstrual equity through reusable pads
- Provides skills training and upskilling opportunities
- Encourages sustainability through textile recycling and circular production
This next phase empowers communities to move beyond receiving support and develop the capacity to sustain themselves independently.
