Our Accommodation Assurance:
CONDUCIVE, COMFORTABLE & CONVENIENT
At Taylor’s Residence, the R!SE Residential Living Program is designed to help students settle comfortably into their new living and learning environment. Built around a structured journey, the program nurtures every aspect of well-being: Physical, Emotional, Social, and Intellectual - guiding residents from their first day towards feeling truly at home and empowered to thrive.
As part of this holistic journey, our residents have been actively engaging in activities under each well-being pillar.
Here’s a glimpse into the meaningful experiences that have shaped their living journey so far.
PHYSICAL WELL-BEING

Safety is a shared responsibility. Under our Physical Well-being pillar, residents joined a Basic Safety & Health Talk led by Mr. Khairul, an expert in Environment, Health & Safety. The session covered key emergency procedures from fire response to evacuation routes and first aid awareness, helping residents stay calm and prepared in any situation. Through engaging discussions, they gained practical insights to protect themselves and their community.
Stay safe. Stay aware. Stay ready.

In support of Earth Day, our residents joined the Waste War Campaign alongside the ESG team from Taylor’s Education Group, a hands-on initiative promoting environmental awareness and sustainable living. Participants learned about proper waste segregation, reuse practices, and innovative eco-solutions from partners like ReMeal, ICG, ITRAMAS, and Tolwin. It was an eye-opening experience that reinforced how small actions can create a big impact for our planet.

Physical health plays a vital role in our overall well-being and sometimes, it starts with something as simple as a daily walk. Through the 5,000 Step Challenge, residents were encouraged to take simple, consistent steps toward a healthier lifestyle – one walk, one run, one day at a time.
Residents tracked their progress, shared some friendly competition, and discovered that staying active isn’t just good for the body, it lifts the spirit too. Every step brought them closer to better balance, energy, and well-being.
Every step count, and our residents are proving it, one stride at a time.

Residents laced up their shoes for a refreshing morning walk through the lush trails of Taman Tugu, in conjunction with World Environment Day. It was more than just a walk, it was a moment to clear the mind, ease tension, and reconnect with nature.
Some residents even adopted plants, taking home a living reminder of their commitment to greener living. The day was filled with laughter, fresh air, and meaningful steps toward mindfulness and sustainability.
SOCIAL WELL-BEING

Residents rolled up their sleeves for a fun and interactive cooking session led by our own staff residents. From learning new recipes to sharing kitchen tips, the event encouraged collaboration and creativity, proving that the best bonds are often formed over food and laughter.
EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

Residents were introduced to practical techniques for managing thoughts and emotions in a calm, reflective space. Guided by speakers from Taylor’s Resident Success Development and external partners, the sessions introduced the S.T.O.P technique – Stop, Take a step back, Observe, Proceed - helping students navigate challenges with mindfulness and clarity.

Led by Academic Life Coach and Licensed Counsellor, Jason Thong, this inspiring session focused on stress management and building resilience. Residents learned strategies to stay grounded and confident, especially during exam season, leaving the room with renewed motivation and a healthier mindset.
INTELLECTUAL WELL-BEING

Residents had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of Artificial Intelligence through the Unlock the Power of AI session, organised in collaboration with Vortex Lab, Taylor’s University.
The session featured engaging demonstrations and discussions that helped residents understand how AI is shaping industries and daily life. It was an inspiring experience that encouraged curiosity, innovation, and future-ready thinking among our residents.
